Club Afternoon

Whether you want to come along on your own, or with friends or family, you will receive a warm welcome at Biddenden Bowls Club.

Bowls is the perfect opportunity to get active together, or to meet new people. It’s all about enjoyment – bowls is a welcoming, fun and simple activity that is accessible to all.

Every Thursday we host a Club Afternoon when non-members and members can come along for a 'Roll Up' (bowls language for an informal, friendly session, where everybody that pitches up is guaranteed a game), some coaching and lots of socialising.

What experience do I need…

Absolutely none! Members will be on hand to make you welcome and get you bowling.

When can I come to the Club…

The weekly Roll Up takes place every Thursday at our Club Afternoon (May to September) from 15:00 and 19:00.

What do I need…

The Club has a selection of bowls available for you to have a go. All you need is a pair of flat soled shoes (trainers), and hopefully (weather dependent) a sun hat and a drink.

Do I need to join the Club to play...

We offer all new non-members three taster / coaching sessions before we ask you to join the Club.

What does it cost to be an adult member…

Adult membership costs £50 in the first year for new bowlers and £100 for returning members.

What does it cost to be a junior member…

Junior membership costs £15 in the first year for new bowlers and £23 for returning members.

Want to try it out…

Come along for a taster session on Thursday from 15:00 - 19:00 (May to September) to see what it’s all about. Children aged 5 and above are welcome.
