On Friday evening we hosted a Bowls Bash evening where members from Biddenen Bowls Club, Biddenden Tennis Club and Sports Route Coaching visited the Club for a fun fast competitive bowl, a tasty BBQ and lots of laughter. What great night!

Congratulations to Catherine, Gail and Gavin who took the win - just!

We were then back on Saturday to welcome 10 pairs (one over and one under age 18) to take part in our intergenerational tournament. Each played 3 six end games, with 3 2 1 scoring.

After some close competitive bowling and lots of measuring, a winning team were crowned! It was a close run thing, 6 pairs ended up on 4 points, however Ruth and Chloe won with the best shot difference and retained the trophy after winning in 2024.

In second place were father and daughter Andy and Lilia.

Winner of the 'spider' went to Dieter and the 'corner to corner' was won by Andy.

Congratulations to everyone! It was a lovely afternoon with some very skilful bowls.

Thank you to markers Sue and Paul who were kept super busy with their measures!
