Bowl for Health

We are super proud to have been chosen by Bowls England and the Bowls Development Alliance to promote health and wellbeing through Bowls for Health in our local community.
This FREE 8-week programme (running from 20th May 25) is designed to help people improve their physical and mental wellbeing through gentle activity and social connection. No experience needed—just come along, get moving, and feel better together!
If you would like to sign up to get physically active in a friendly and relaxed environment, we’d love to see and welcome you to the green.

We’re delighted to be working in partnership with Bowls Development Alliance to support their Bowl for Health programme in Kent. Two 8-week programmes of free sessions will start this May, the first at Charing Bowls Club, starting 19 May and another at Biddenden Bowls Club, starting 22 May.
The Bowl for Health programme aligns with our focus around health and physical activity pathways, enabling everyone to benefit from an active lifestyle. The sessions are a great opportunity for all ages and abilities to try bowls for the first time whilst meeting people from the local area. The emphasis is on inclusivity and breaking down barriers, so the sessions are accessible to everyone, including those who have long term health conditions, disability, mental health, at risk of social isolation or physical inactivity. #MoveTogether #EverydayActive #ConnectingCommunities #healthwellbeing
