Biddenden Bowls Club is a friendly outdoor bowls club located in the beautiful Kent village of Biddenden. During the season from April to September, the club has weekly rollups, friendly matches, league games, a variety of club competitions and social events.

With a mixture of playing and social members, we are proud to be a small and friendly village club that makes bowling available to all. From beginners to experienced bowlers, there is something to suit everyone. We have members who play social bowls and others who play league games, competitions, tournaments and county knock outs.

The Club plays over 30 friendly matches home and away against local clubs each season. We have teams in the Weald League (mixed triples) and the Maidstone League (mens triples). We host an annual Ladies Open Triples Tournament every August where we welcome up to 100 visitors to our club for a day of great bowls, refreshments and fun. See our Friendly & League Games pages to find out more.

The Club is committed to providing facilities and support to bowlers of all ages and abilities and to ensuring that the club is accessible and inclusive to all, including those with any form of impairment or disability. See our Ethos and Inclusion page.

The Club is committed to providing a safe environment for young people and adults to enjoy playing bowls.  In accordance with guidance issued by the Bowls Development Alliance we have systems in place to ensure activities at our club are an enjoyable and safe experience for all. Please see our Safeguarding page for details of our safeguarding officers, policies and links to information and guidance.

Thinking of having a go, or joining us? Come along for a free taster session at an Open Day, or the weekly Thursday Roll Up to find out what we're all about. Our club coach and members will be on hand to make you welcome and get you bowling.

For the under 18s, we host junior activities and coaching and take part in the Sports Route Coaching Summer School, where we welcome young people to our Club to learn a new sport.

Don't have a set of bowls? Not a problem, bowls will be available for you to use. Initially all you need is a pair of flat soled shoes.

See our Join Us page to find out more.
